Always had a passion for IT or considering a career switch? It's possible at Enshore!

Enshore suggests...

Some time ago, two new team members started the ERP traineeship. Florin always had the ambition to do something with IT, while Bowie took a completely different direction with this. In this article, they talk about why they chose Enshore ERP and what their experiences are like so far.

Why did you choose Enshore ERP?

Before joining Enshore ERP, I worked for years as an optician, a completely different sector from ERP. I noticed that over time, the work became less challenging and therefore felt a bit monotonous. During a career path, I discovered that 'functional management' suited me better, so I decided to look for opportunities in that direction. At the Job Fair, I got talking to Nathalie, HR manager at Enshore ERP, and the contact felt right away. The position appealed to me because of the constant challenge and the possibility of continuous learning. In addition, the traineeship caught my attention as I had no experience yet and this offered me the chance to learn something new.

What are your duties within Enshore ERP?

I started out as an ERP trainee. The traineeship is now over, and I am currently supporting two different teams at various clients as an ERP consultant and waiting to start a new project. My tasks include solving system problems at customers and researching the most effective ways to leverage their database. During the traineeship, you get a lot of information; in practice, you really learn how to work with it. It is reassuring that you don't have to understand everything right away and that there is room to learn and grow. I notice that I am starting to understand ERP better and better.

How do you like it so far at Enshore ERP?

I have been pleasantly surprised by Enshore ERP. Enshore ERP delivers on its promises, such as the freedom promised, which is actually provided. In addition, I can indicate my preferences, and options are seriously considered. I really enjoy my current tasks, especially the process of identifying and solving problems appeals to me. Moreover, my colleagues are very helpful and always willing to answer my questions.

Why did you choose to work at Enshore?
I've been coding since high school, but I thought I didn't want to become a programmer. Subsequently, I pursued studies in economics and business, yet my interest in IT persisted. I was initially concerned about how my diverse background might be a challenge. But during the 'Banenmarkt' I got talking to Nathalie, she told me that I can actually combine my background as an ERP consultant. I find ERP very interesting because it allows for active involvement in business processes. Enshore seemed like a great employer and a good place to develop my skills.

What do you do within Enshore?
My traineeship is finished, and I started working as an ERP consultant for a client. I try to solve problems and streamline business processes, by analysing user activities and trying to make them more efficient. I was very impressed with the traineeship. During the traineeship I got a lot of information and a lot of time to learn. What stood out for me was the fact that the traineeship was conducted by colleagues with experience in ERP, through which we learned practical tips from real life.

How do you like it so far at Enshore?
I really enjoy working at Enshore. My colleagues are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. You can tell by the fact that they are always ready to answer questions and work together. In addition, there is no competition between colleagues, there really is a team spirit: if we help each other, we can all learn and grow. Another aspect I appreciate is the buddy system after the traineeship, which significantly lowers the barrier to asking questions.

I also like that the organisation is so flat, the integration of managers into the team creates a collaborative atmosphere. In addition, the freedom is very nice, you can work from home if you want and organise your working day yourself.
