This time, we would like to introduce two new ERP trainees to you: Ada and Ivan. Despite their different backgrounds, they share a passion for IT and a strong ambition to develop within the ERP field. In their stories, they explain why they chose this traineeship and how they experience this learning journey.
Ada - ERP Trainee
I am Ada, originally from Turkey. I came to the Netherlands to study economics at the University of Groningen. After graduating, I wanted to take a new direction. During a job fair, I met Nathalie, Manager Business Support & HR at Enshore. Her story about Enshore and ERP appealed to me so much that I decided to apply for the ERP traineeship.
I find it important to work at an organisation where I feel at home and where I can continue to develop myself. When I started, I had little knowledge of ERP systems. For some of my own projects, I even used Google Docs as a kind of 'ERP system' to organise my work. I didn't have a really fundamental understanding of ERP then. But at Enshore, it soon became clear that the traineeship is accessible to anyone with a passion for IT, regardless of prior knowledge. The programme is broad and well structured, so I keep learning new things all the time.

Ada is a man with many hobbies? Besides his musical talent on bass and guitar, he enjoys nature. Whether it is a leisurely walk through the forest or adventurous surfing on the water... he feels at home everywhere. Ada knows better than anyone how to enjoy life.
Ivan - ERP trainee
I am Ivan, originally from Russia. I studied Artificial Intelligence at the University of Groningen, where I gained experience in coding, data analysis and complex IT systems. My background fits well with the traineeship, as it is within the IT sector and gives me the opportunity to apply my technical knowledge in practice.
When I started the traineeship, I had little knowledge of ERP systems. However, I soon discovered how versatile ERP is. It is a comprehensive system in which various business processes come together. You often work on one specific component, but at the same time see how this is connected to other processes. This gives you a 'bird's-eye view' of the whole, so to speak, which is very instructive and interesting.
What particularly appeals to me is that you are constantly learning. ERP provides structure and routine, but every day brings new challenges and issues. You constantly develop yourself, without the work becoming monotonous or overwhelming. That balance between stability and growth is what makes working in ERP so attractive to me.
Did you know...
Ivan already speaks Dutch quite well and has even reached B1 level? He is becoming more and more at home with the language and dares to speak Dutch more often, sometimes even with a smile when a tricky word comes up!
