Als Security Specialist zal je een belangrijke rol spelen bij het opsporen, valideren en oplossen van kwetsbaarheden. Jij zorgt ervoor dat procedures en werkinstructies binnen het security werkveld niet alleen op papier goed staan, maar ook in de praktijk werken. Je vertaalt informatiebeveiligingsnormen naar techniek, je implementeert aanbevelingen uit penetratietesten en je helpt bij de doorontwikkelingen van onze eigen security applicaties. Daarnaast ben je in staat om mee te ontwikkelen aan verschillende cloud-omgevingen. Naast het verhelpen van kwetsbaarheden is ook het actief uitdragen van security kennis en bewustwording een belangrijk onderdeel van jouw werkzaamheden.

As a Security Specialist, you will be working at Warpnet, part of BlueGem. Our team consists of seniors with passion for their profession, who are eager to advance each other and our junior colleagues. With us, being a nerd is the standard, both at work and in our private lives we are involved with technology. We like to share our passion and regularly organise internal and external workshops, pizza sessions, lectures, presentations and challenges. External events include information sessions at companies and educational institutions at intermediate and higher vocational level.

You are an enthusiastic Security Specialist with passion for your profession. You are a team player and take pleasure in sharing knowledge so that customers and colleagues can learn and grow from you, but also enjoy learning from others. You don't have a 9 to 5 mentality and take responsibility. You are a demonstrable geek at heart and meet the following requirements:
- Minimum HBO working and thinking level;
- Completed relevant ICT training;
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experience as a Security Specialist, Cloud Engineer or Pentester;
- Good command of the Dutch and English languages;
- You have demonstrable knowledge with analysing security issues;
- You have demonstrable knowledge with concepts such as virtualisation, containerisation, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code;
- Available for a minimum of 32 to 40 hours;
- Je bent bereid om 1 à 2 keer per week naar Groningen te reizen.
